Spellbinding tales include those of knives - "Do you own a knife? Do you treat it right? . . . You never know about knives. Yours may turn on you when you least expect it." Swamps – "Don’t move. I want to talk to you . . . you who don’t venture beyond your neighborhood. Are you afraid of distant lands, places outside your own home? For instance, are you afraid of the sounds the South American swamp makes (suck, slump, pop)" And going blind - " there are things a blind man can see better, murder for instance!"
