The Red Foley Show features good time old time radio country music. Red Foley was known as Mr. Country Music and he rose in popularity after appearances on Grand Ole Opry. He performed all types of country-western music with gusto including gospel, rockabilly, boogie-woogie, rhythm and blues, also both classic and contemporary country music. He bridged the gap between popular music and country music making him a staple on disk jockey's turntables.
On radio, he co-hosted Avalon Time with Red Skeleton and made appearances onNational Barn Dance and even the popular radio drama One Man's Family. The Red Foley Show was sponsored by Dow Chemicals and lasted for an amazing 10 year run.
