Music (1929-1932)
Playing the prestigious area of Nob Hill hotels in San Francisco, Anson Weeks and his orchestra frequented the Peacock Court at the Hotel Mark Hopkins almost weekly. As an inspiring dance band, Anson Weeks quickly gained popularity and became tops with the toe-tapping public. The Anson Weeks Orchestra recorded with such stars-before-they-were-big-stars as Bing Crosby (singing "Please, an early popular hit for him) and Dale Evans (pre-Roy Rogers ). So lace up those fancy shoes and start twirling, because you’re about to start dancin’ with Anson!
