Jerry at Fair Oaks

The Circus is no place for a fine young boy to grow up. Oh, there's nothing wrong with circus people, but when a lad has a lot of potential like Jerry Dugan does, he needs more structure and instruction. At least those are the thoughts of Mr. Randall, owner of Randall Brothers Circus and Jerry's guardian.

The perfect answer is the Military Academy at Fair Oaks. There is everything there that a young boy could need or want. There is a tradition of honor and discipline that will help shape him into a fine man. There are athletics to build his body and character. And there are stables so that he can keep up the riding that he learned in the circus. Best of all the school is near the Circus's Winter Quarters, so Jerry can see all his friends. But you can't forget all of the new friends he is going to make at Fair Oaks, especially his new room-mate, Lee. Of course not all of the cadets have Jerry's best interests at heart, and some are jealous of the things he has learned in the circus. But Jerry is a good boy and will always do what he thinks is best, or find the best advice he can.
