Healthcare in America

When Americans think of the issue of health care they think of the cost for the doctor or prescriptions. But the reality is that public health is about your financial health, your food security, your family security, opportunities for the disabled with both mental illness and physical illness. There is also the community in the workplace and the government to help get through hard times.

Some people like 22 year old Pedro Zamora, used their experiences, in his case as a young man living with AIDS for five years before he died chose to devote the rest of his life educating his community, the nation, and the world about his disease so that others don’t have to suffer.

This is a repository of various health issues that will hopefully educate the listener will think further what health care in America is so that the country can work to make life better in the future.
