This is Doorway To Life features stories about the dramas of raising kids from physical abuse to toilet training.

Story of Estelle, Age 6, Story of Ruth, Age 17. Inspiration! Life lessons! This is Doorway To Life, a radio program airing from July 2 1947-June 20, 1948. The series aired on CBS from 1:30-2:00 on Sundays.

Estelle, Ruth, Tommy, and all the others underwent what the producers felt were common childhood problems meant to illustrate mistakes made by parents. John Dunning, author of On the Air: The Encyclopedia of Old-Time Radio, ventures "it's safe to say that no other show offered a drama on the consequences of poor toilet training."

Cast members included Marlene Aames, Henry Blair, and Johnny McGovern.
