The show was on the air from October 1942 until May of 1944 and featured classical music, pop, and jazz.
The show was first hosted by funny man Jack Pearl with his straight man, Cliff Hall from October 1942 until April 1943. Originally, the show was on for 45 minutes later changing to 30 minutes in April 1943 with a corresponding change in hosts to Frank Gallop with Eric Hatch as the musical commentator. Morton Gould conducted the orchestra for the run of the show. When listening to the show, listen for the Cresta Blanca commercials simulating pouring wine and the catchy jingle
