After enjoying a highly popular summer, the show went on to enjoy five years on the air. Charlotte Greenwood is known for her role in Oklahoma, as well as her long lanky body and her humorous dancing with high kicks.

Pepsodent sponsored the old time radio programIn Charlotte Greenwood, she plays Aunt Charlotte, who is full of advice and good to the bone. On the program, Aunt Charlotte raises the three Barton children, one wee one and two teenagers. What a ruckus! Whilst juggling three children, Auntie also tries to run a low-profit lunch room and yield crops from an unproductive farm -- all while keeping her head above water. Whenever country music star Edward Arnold (playing the lawyer Mr. Reynolds) appears, humor arises (albeit sometimes unintentionally when Eddy laughs louder than the studio audience).
