Sponsored by Philip Morris, Author's Playhouse is an expertly written series of high quality. Created by Wynn Wright, this old time radio show utilized the writings of famous short story authors and playwrights.

The series includes such stories as Woman's Work by Elizabeth Dunn, The Snow Goose by Paul Gallico. Many of the shows are quite amusing and are terrific portrait of the ethics of an era though the vantage point of a number of artistic voices.
